Click here to submit articles for the NewPeople. The paper is a volunteer run effort that follows a consensus building model. Volunteer editors meet monthly to discuss the issues of the day and to organize for articles in the next issue. Articles are submitted by the public and reviewed and edited by the collective. Complete the TMC Intern application form and we will get in touch with you! Interns support the many projects organizing campaigns through the Thomas Merton Center. They also assist with social administration of our peace and justice office. We work to provide an intensive learning experience that will help build leadership and advocacy skills for your future justice work.
Complete the TMC volunteer application form and we will contact you! Volunteers work in the office to answer phones, greet visitors and provide hospitality for the many organizers and activists that organize through the center. We also look for volunteers that will help with our newspaper distribution and speak at outreach engagements about the center.
